If you’ve read any of my stuff, you know this is a blog filled with tough love. In today’s soft society, this has become the exception rather than the norm. It’s not going to change on this blog.

I do want to clarify what this tough love is not. It’s not me saying “oh you do it this way but I do it another way, so I’m better than you”. If I’m giving tough love on something, it’s because I’ve been where you’re at.

I’ve been living this lifestyle for years, and I’ve experienced my share of failures and setbacks. All of that has taught me where some of the common pitfalls are. Do you think I learned all of this in a damn textbook? Absolutely not! I learned it through trial and error. I’ve tried a lot more things that don’t work than the ones that do work. The only thing that sets me apart is that I learn from it and keep coming back for more.

I hope that by sharing my experiences, I can help get you on the fast track to reaching your goals. It’s basically all of the stuff I wish I had learned earlier. That said, you will still fail at times. Even I still fail sometimes! I’m definitely not perfect, but I’m getting better all the time. When you fail at the fitness game, it’s like falling off a bike. You just have to get up, rub you knees off, and get back on. Anybody who tells you it’s easy is trying to sell you something.
